El Pecado in Tubingen

Went like that

I had a burger and fries. The fries were soggy. The patty was frozen and tasted accordingly.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience at El Pecado. The taco (which was actually a burrito) tasted like nothing and the filling consisted only of a frozen vegetable mix. Unfortunately, the burger wasn't better at all; the bun was dry and the beef patty from the freezer too. The fries were unseasoned and limp. We definitely wouldn't eat there anymore!

Very delicious food, the spare rips are very soft as it should be, the cocktails are also brilliant

Went to dinner with my girlfriend, only ate part of it and then left. I had spare ribs with wedges that weren't done and didn't look like them. My friend had a tortilla that was hardly seasoned and the filling was way too liquid.

Spare ribs are not recommended, the Union-Rings were awesome

We used to go there often as a group, as there is still a warm kitchen here for a long time, the food was delicious and you can reserve as a larger group without any problems. The kitchen is still open late and there are actually still free places - even with several people. However, some of the food is absolutely inedible. When I ordered a rump steak, the piece of meat was much too thin and dry. Another time the chicken nuggets weren't through, and another time the fitness salad was a handful of spinach with two pieces of pepper and a few much too thin turkey strips with a ready-made dressing ... The burgers are ok, but we won't eat anything else here!

The Chinese food was tasty, but the waiter was very unfriendly and we had the impression that there's a preference for their Chinese clients.

The waitress barely understands the order. The staff smokes in front of the guests. Not a Mexican restaurant but a Chinese one. Burger bun was old and ketchup tasted weird. First and last time.

The last time I was there, the vegan citizen was delicious and the fries too. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Food came as a large portion, which made you feel full quickly. Very suitable for celebrations with the whole family. Overall very good. Attention! Has probably changed the owner and thus the quality. But hasn't been there since.

The food is delicious. Rice can be continued.

Has changed hands a while ago and has also had Chinese dishes on offer since then. Unfortunately the food is not what it used to be. Definitely cheap and good for the hunger in between.

This place smells really bad ?

Unfortunately, the food didn't really convince me. There are clearly better places to eat burgers.

Fast and surprisingly good. I have rarely eaten such a juicy fried fish that has not been tortured to death a second time in hot oil.

Very surprisingly el pecado is not a mexican restaurant. The owner is a Chinese couple and the cook is also chinese. They have a mexican menu for the non-chinese guests with some burgers etc. But if you ask for it you will get secret menu of chinese food:) and this food is simply great!

While the interior is nice, the restaurant does the split of serving both American and Chinese food. The burger I had was ok, meat seemed to be a frozen patty instead of fresh - this is something that can be improved. Another thing was: choosing sweet potato fries with the burger cost an extra of 3 € with the explanation that these fries are just so much more expensive to purchase...

The staff are friendly and the menu is very diverse. We tried Chinese food there and it was great. The atmosphere is nice as well.

Its run by a chinese crew now who can barely speak deutsch or English. Normally this is a good sign as far as authentic food goes :-). We went for the afternoon buffet at 12:30. There was an insipid offering but since we were already there we decided to try it. Noodles and veggies were out so the waitress said that the buffet would get replenishments soon. After 10 mins we went back and again the veggies and noodles were out. The food that we ate was oily and very run of the mill and the music was some kind of Chinese rap - rapid Chinese interrupted by a high pitched stringed instrument. Very weird Not going back.

Nice people - food and cocktails are mediocre

At lunch time, it seems to be used for Mensa only for Chinese. If you let Tagesmenu, about 6 dishes + side dish? I do not like the side dishes I do not like and I can get more of my favorite side dishes on the spot. I was introduced to my Chinese friend I think it is operated by different kind of food business in different time zone ... ㅋ ㅋㅋㅋ

Nice folks working here, but the burger was like a cafeteria burger (with slightly better taste). Texture left a lot to be desired. Don't bring any visiting Americans here. Edible but disappointing. Milkshakes are not ice cream based. Mozzarella sticks are solid.

Good burgers, friendly and fast service. Prices are ok.

This place has the best hamburger of Tübingen. You can have a bier outside (at least during the summer) as well. They also offer happy hour after 10pm.

The citizens were not my taste but the rest of the menu is really great

Big portions, really nice burgers. Prefer the country potatoes instead of the french fries. The spicy burger is amazing. Not really mexican, but nice burgers though. Good price!!

Fantastic place. I kept returning to the place during a short stay in Tubingen. The burgers along with the country potatoes are too good. I tried the Inferno, El Pecado and the one with pineapple (I know.. but it is surprisingly good!). Consider it a must if you visit the town.

In addition their prices are very affordable and I also noticed they have different offers every day. The atmosphere is also very relaxing !
